...Scales N Tales Charters fishes the Gulf of Mexico from the Keaton Beach, Fl. Areas and
Crystal River/Homosassa areas. We fish inshore/nearshore and back country for Trout, Red Fish, Flounder, Mackerel, and Cobia. As well as other species that are seasonal.
No Fishing License required. We furnish the boat, the gas, all fishing tackle as well as live bait in seasons requiring it. Ice cold water and a variety of soft drinks are furnished at no extra charge and we clean and bag your catch free of charge.

Not allowed are boots, black sole shoes, BANANNAS. You bring your lunch or snacks, protective eyewear, hats or caps and sunscreen minimum spf 45.

We offer ½ day and full day trips. We offer a chance for each individual to learn new things about fishing whether you are an experienced angler of novice. A day on the water with Captain Rick will be a day to remember for a long time. Captain Rick has been fishing Florida waters for over fifty years in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico waters. We do not mind sharing our knowledge with you to help you become a better angler and conservationist. When we release the undersized fish today they are the trophy catch next year.

Captain Rick Moseley is a United States Coast Guard licensed Master Captain. He is an International Game Fish Association Certified Captain, a member in good standing with the Florida Guides Association and the National Association of Charter Boat Operators.

Scales N Tales Charters fishes from a 21’ KENNER with a 2006 Mercury Optimax 150 H.P. We use Berkly Rods and mostly Shimano Reels with a few Penn spinning reels.
